  1. Cut the okra into pieces of 1 inch size and saute them in oil for five minutes till it becomes a golden colour. Then keep it aside..
  2. Heat a curry pan with oil and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, some curry leaves to temper. After tempering, add chopped onions and once the onions are soft and golden, then add 3 tbsp of Kulambu powder (Curry powder) and chopped tomato. Cook until everything turns into a paste..
  3. Then add tamarind juice (soak lemon size tamarind in water for sometime and then extract the juice) and add enough water and salt to taste. Cook for 10 minutes..
