- In a pressure cooker take soaked dal, veggies, water, salt and turmeric powder. Pressure cook for 1 whistle. Let the pressure naturally..
- In a wok heat oil. Add panch phoran and let them splutter. Add chopped onion and saute till rawness is gone..
- Add chopped tomatoes, green chilli and grated ginger. Cook till tomatoes are soft..
- Add chopped spinach and grated coconut and fry for two minutes. Then add this spinach masala with the boiled dal and vegetables in pressure cooker..
- Mix well and cook covered till one boil..
